Expert Gardening Tips for Beginners

Basil Plant In Tagalog

One of the things that I really enjoy doing in my home is growing herbs. Growing herbs as part of a home gardening project is a very rewarding experience. Not only do you get to eat the fresh herbs that you have grown, but you also do something that you can be proud of and give your guests the taste of. The wonderful aromas and flavors of basil, mint, parsley and oregano are just what makes growing herbs a pleasurable experience for me. Here in this article we are going to take a look at some basic tips on how to grow basil plant in Tagalog.

First, you will need to decide which basil plant that you would like to grow. Basil is an easy plant to grow if you have a window facing a window. If you live in a cooler climate, mint is probably going to be your best choice since it can handle much more than just direct sunlight. Basil is a perennial herb, so you need to be sure that it gets a lot of direct sunlight and plenty of watering.

The other two herbs that you should consider growing are parsley and oregano. You should know that each one of these has slightly different requirements when it comes to growing herbs so be sure that you follow the instructions for each plant carefully. The only difference between these plants is that oregano will grow much faster and needs more frequent watering.

Once you have decided on which basil plant that you would like to use, then it’s time to prepare the soil for your basil plant in Tagalog. Basil does not like acidic soil, so the ideal soil for growing herbs in Tagalog is slightly acidic. Although basil does not like acidic soil, mint does, so you might want to add some rock salt to the soil.

After you have prepared the soil, it is time to plant the plant in pots. You will want to select the pots that are large enough for your plant but small enough to avoid overflowing. It is important that the pots are placed on sturdy supports because the plant may knock them over if it gets too heavy. Some experts recommend using six to ten gallon pots and using heavy duty pots with locks.

After you have placed your basil plant in the containers, then it is time to move it to the location where it will be planted. To do this, you need to water the plant well and then put the pots in a plastic basket. If you want, there are also some support poles available for the pots that you can use. This is easier to do if you do not have strong roots in the soil. Just remember to dig a hole that is deeper than the roots of the plant, six to eight inches deep.

Before you place the basil plant in the containers, it is very important that you check on it at least once a day. If it does not look right, then you can pull it out and replace it with another. It is also recommended that you remove the sprigs of basil that grow on the stem of the plant at night. These are called fronds leaves and should be removed. They can make your basil plant smell like something that has been burned if they grow wild.

There are many other ways that you can grow a basil plant in Tagalog. You can have it as a houseplant or place it on your desk to smell nice all day long. You will not believe how great basil smells when it is freshly harvested. You can have basil plant in Tagalog that smells like an aroma from a fresh baked pizza. That is why basil plant in Tagalog are so popular and a part of everyday life for many in the Philippines and southern parts of Mexico.
